Meet Chris Lehr, our Client Services Senior Account Manager with a motor and wealth of Cubs knowledge matched by few. When he’s not on a call with a client, he’s in a meeting with a client or for a client. While Chris is always on the move, he never misses the opportunity to crack a joke in passing and is definitely that guy who knows the name and age of everyone’s child (and actually cares).

Can you tell us what you do with a jingle?
♫ Provide clients with work that exceeds their expectations. ♫ (Not a very catchy jingle, but Chris doesn’t work in the Creative department).

You recently made the big move from the city to the suburbs. What’s the biggest difference so far?
I definitely have a lot more responsibilities in the ‘burbs than I did in the city but it’s awesome to have my own place where I don’t have to answer to anyone (other than his wife). One of the best things is my yard…nothing better than grilling a big ol’ ribeye outside.

Tradeshows are something you work on a lot, from coordinating the booth design to actually helping out at the shows. What are some dos and don’ts of a good booth?
Most importantly, you need to get your message across in 3 seconds or less to get people to stop by. Because the shows are so busy and crowded it’s all about having strong imagery to create real stopping power. Giveaways are a great way to get people to stop by, but make sure whatever you’re giving away is useful. If it’s branded and it’s something they can use every day, they’ll be seeing your name every day (we like the sound of that). Biggest don’t would be a messy booth. Always avoid clutter, a clean booth is a great booth. (Check out one of Chris’s favorite trade show booths he’s worked on)

You’re a big sports guy, what player would you love to grab a cold one with?
Greg Maddux –fave player and a real character. I would love to ask him about the best pranks he’s ever pulled (Chris doesn’t need any more ideas) and the highlights of his career.

What are you binge watching currently?
King of Queens (little late to the game, Chris)

The holidays are coming up, are there any traditions you’re excited for?
I’m excited to start making new traditions in our new home (cue the sappy music).
