Brook Schuler has over 20 years of media experience in a variety of industries including agriculture, consumer packaged goods, entertainment, finance/insurance, telecom and travel. Brook understands how to create and manage cross-channel campaigns that connect brands with their target audiences.
Q. Of the various industries you’ve worked in, which industry have you enjoyed working in most?
A: I don’t have a favorite. Each industry is unique and different, which I like. The thing I enjoy the most is the challenge of researching, building and executing a smart strategy that achieves success for each client.
Q. How do you understand the audiences’ needs?
A: Research in a variety of areas helps understand each audience. Then we need to stay alert to how those needs may change due to market conditions. That research comes from a variety of third parties, providing intelligence that can be documented in user personas. It is also important to build relationships to get first-hand insights.
Q. If you could pick one theme for Celtic to turn into a book about the company, what would it be?
A: I think the theme would be teamwork. There are so many talented people at Celtic that function and collaborate as a true connected team, with each other and clients, on a daily basis to produce great work.
Q: If you were to write a book about yourself, what would it be titled?
A: I have a lot of interests and like to learn new things, so maybe "Mr. Curious" would be a good title.
