Q. What do you like most about working at Celtic?
I’m most excited about working with a team that prioritizes people. Celts value relationships, and that’s reflected in the culture.
Q. What is your favorite part of your role here?
I love watching creative thoughts grow into something tangible. Seeing that process take place in an entirely new way is exciting.
Q. Can you describe what you do in 5 words?
Write until I fall asleep.
Q. If you didn’t have to work, what would you do with your time?
I would finish the novel I’m working on now, about small-town teenagers who grow up with a terrible secret! After that, I would read and write all the books, essays, and poems I want.

Shrimp fajitas with all the veggies, super-hot salsa and fresh guacamole. (Can’t forget the frozen lime margarita.)

I saw Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once at the Minneapolis airport!
